Mr Erik Havranek


Mr Erik Havranek is a consultant urological surgeon at Northwick Park and Central Middlesex Hospitals in Harrow and London. He is trained in all aspects of general urology with a sub-specialist interest in kidney stone disease. He performs minimally invasive laser stone surgery (ureteroscopy), external shockwave lithotripsy (ESWL) and percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PCNL). He also deals with the medical management and prevention of stone disease.

In addition, he has an interest in male and female lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS), female incontinence, bladder Botox injections, benign and malignant prostate disease, TURP and laser surgery of the prostate, diagnosis of renal cancer, haematuria, prostatitis, erectile dysfunction and circumcision.

He graduated from Imperial College (University of London) and completed basic surgical training at St. Mary’s Hospital, Paddington, before training in Urology on the North West London Urology rotation.

To further his surgical expertise he completed Fellowships in Brisbane, Australia and at the Stone Unit in Guy’s Hospital. He has an MD in renal cancer from St. George’s Hospital (University of London).
